Environmental Initiatives
We are using environmentally friendly materials and operating in a way that has less impact to environment.
CO2 Emission Reduction
At the Gunma Plant, LCA (Life-Cycle Assessment) has been used to evaluate CO2 emissions, and we reduce CO2 at each stage of manufacturing to transportation.
Environmentally Friendly Products
- Vehicle Interior Materials
- We reduced usage of environmentally hazardous substances (lead, mercury, cadmium, hexavalent chromium, etc.) and volatile organic compounds (VOCs) by changing the materials including adhesives and reviewing processing methods.
We are actively working on recycling activities by using high recyclable materials, also making the product which is easy to separate and recycle.
- Interior / Upholstery
- We are selecting materials that last for a long time, also considering efficient use of resources, and reduction of environmental impact, such as organic cotton, hemp, raw yarn, recycled polyester, and recycled yarn from anti-wool.
