FORESCARE+の加工に使用していた薬剤を見直し、従来と同等の汚れ除去性能を保持しつつ非フッ素化（PFASフリー）を実現いたしました。

PFASとは

PFAS（有機フッ素化合物）とは4,000種類以上あるフッ素化合物（PFC）の総称です。撥水、撥油性、耐熱性、耐薬品性の性質があり、撥水剤、コーティング剤などに幅広く用いられています。しかし一方で、Forever Chemicals（永久に残る化学物質）とも呼ばれ、自然界や体内で分解されにくく一度生成されると蓄積されやすいため、環境汚染や健康被害を引き起こす毒性が懸念されています。そのためPFASの中でも毒性が懸念されている「PFOS」「PFOA」「PFCA」「PFHxS」の4物質は国際的な規制が進み、さらにヨーロッパ、アメリカではフッ素化合物自体を使わない方向へ向かっています。

PFAS (organo-fluorine compounds) is the generic name for more than 4,000 fluorine compounds (PFC). They are widely used in water repellents and coatings because of their water repellency, oil repellency, heat resistance, and chemical resistance. On the other hand, they are also called “Forever Chemicals” because they are not easily decomposed in nature or in the body, and once produced, they tend to accumulate, causing environmental pollution and health hazards. For this reason, international regulations are progressing for the four PFAS substances that are of concern for their toxicity: PFOS, PFOA, PFCA, and PFHxS, and Europe and the United States are moving toward eliminating the use of fluorine compounds themselves.
